LINE Z, THE SLEEK TABLE LAMP FROM NIMBUS, HAS JUST BEEN NAMED A ‘NEW CLASSIC OF THE 21ST CENTURY’ BY GERMANY’S LEADING DESIGN TITLE.

A prominent jury – including star architect Hadi Teherani and designer Peter Schmidt – decided which items of furniture from the last decade had already reached the status of a classic or will earn such a status in the future. Line Z joins products by leading designers and companies to be listed as one of only 200 objects worthy of the title.

Line Z is a slimline desk light that is perfect for home or office use. With a 5mm profile, converter and switch integrated in the base it is a stylish and energy efficient lighting solution. Designed by architects it combines sleek aesthetics with sustainability. Maintenance free, it lasts 50,000 hours, emits a warm light similar to an incandescent bulb but uses 70% less energy and is twice as efficient as low-voltage halogen lighting. It has a high light output while running at safe-to-touch low temperatures is 100% recyclable and contains no mercury.
